With the high color light output and contrast, and ease of use functions, Epson new models EB-97H makes the classroom a fun place to be with more effective lessons.
High Color Light Output
With stunningly bright 2,700 lumens and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, you can project beautiful well-defined images wherever you are, regardless of ambient light.
Brightness has long been the specification used for projector comparisons; however the old specification measured only White Light Output, rather than measuring both White Light Output and Color Light Output. The vast majority of the projectors today project color so measuring White Light Output or White Brightness alone is insufficient. Color Light Output gives the projector buyers the data they need and have been missing.
Color Light Output is measured in accordance with IDMS (Information Display Measurements Standard) 15.4 which was standardized in June, 2012 by SID, a major international organization in electronic displays.
Wide-ranging Connectivity
Depending on the situation, you can choose from a variety of connection methods including HDMI, VGA and LAN. Furthermore, it is now equipped with 2 HDMI ports (the HDMI 2 port is MHL compatible) for more complete digital compatibility.
In addition, you can transfer images easily with the optional ELPAP07 wireless module. Also, using the “Epson iProjection” application allows you to display images and files from your smart devices. This is a convenient solution for smooth and smart projection.
Front Exhaust and Horizontal Keystone Slider
The front exhaust helps to direct the hot exhaust away from your audience for more comfortable meetings and presentations with less distraction.
The Horizontal Keystone Slider allows for intuitive horizontal keystone correction. This convenient adjustment feature corrects image distortion with a single touch for a broad range of placement options. Images can be enjoyed quickly and beautifully anywhere you choose.
Enhances Audio 16W Built-in Speaker
The built-in 16W speaker provides ample sound even in large rooms and removes the need to prepare external speakers, saving both valuable time and money. It also supports audio standby with which both internal speaker and audio output. With the audio standby function, the internal speaker can be operated even the projector is switched off.
Auto Power On and Multi PC Projection
Projection starts automatically when a signal from the computer is received while the projector is in standby. There is no need to turn on the power using the remote control or the power button on the projector itself.
The Multi PC Projection feature allows a network of up to 50 PCs to be connected via Epson's 《EasyMP Multi PC Projection》software to a single projector. The newest version of this feature allows a host PC to act as a Moderator who can then select up to 4 of these connected computers and project their screens. The addition of a Moderator helps to maintain control and prevents tampering with the projected screen.
Split Screen
Split Screen allows input from two separate sources to be displayed side by side on the same screen. For example, images from a document camera and an electric textbook could be projected at the same time.
Furthermore, a direct connection with document cameras makes set-up quick and easy with less preparation necessary.
Long Lamp Life
The long 10,000H lamp life saves time and money by reducing the frequency of costly lamp replacements. However, when a lamp does require changing it can be done quickly and easily even in ceiling mounted applications.
Easy to Set Up and Update Firmware
When setting up several projectors of the same model, the OSD settings can be copied from one projector to many others meaning you don’t need to set up projectors individually.
Firmware updates can now be done on site by simply inserting a USB memory stick with the necessary updates. This means the update can be done with the projector still installed without having to take it to a service center and rendering it unusable. Updates can also be done over a LAN network or via USB-B connection.
